AH Tokyo General Hospital (AH東京総合病院, AH Tōkyō Sōgō Byōin, equivalent to the real-world JR Tokyo General Hospital) is where Dr. Fumio Takashina and the nurse Shino Hazuki work, as well as where Shogun has been hospitalized for years.
AH Tokyo General Hospital is where Takumi Nishijou seeks help when he thinks he might be sleepwalking, and where Ayase Kishimoto is treated after her suicide attempt. It also deals with a huge influx of patients after the Second Melt earthquake, which happens on the same day as Ayase’s failed suicide attempt. Rimi Sakihata helps Ayase get top priority treatment over the earthquake victims, using her mind control powers on the ambulance medics and hospital employees to get them to give her priority treatment instead of making her wait until all the earthquake victims are treated first.
It is not just an ordinary hospital, however. AH Tokyo General Hospital is owned by N.O.Z.O.M.I. and does experiments to try to awaken Gigalomaniacs in its basement, as part of Project Noah, something also done at Ark Heart Medical Group. Because of these connections, Shogun has to hide himself from N.O.Z.O.M.I. and make it look like the corridor leading to his room is a dead end, to avoid getting caught and used as a sample for Noah II.
