ChäoS;HEAd Love Chu☆Chu! (CHAOS;HEAD らぶChu☆Chu!, CHAOS;HEAD Rabu Chu☆Chu!) is a romantic comedy visual novel spinoff of ChäoS;HEAd NoAH, developed by 5pb. (now called Mages) and Nitroplus. It was first released March 25, 2010, on Xbox 360 and was ported to the PlayStation Portable (PSP) January 27, 2011, to the PlayStation 3 (PS3) as a normal edition and in a bundle with ChäoS;HEAd NoAH titled ChäoS;HEAd Double Pack November 22, 2012, and eventually to the PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) August 21, 2014, in a bundle with ChäoS;HEAd NoAH, namely ChäoS;HEAd Dual. Additionally, a Platinum Collection edition, the equivalent of Platinum Hits in the USA, was released November 11, 2011, for the Xbox 360.
The game takes place right after the True End of ChäoS;HEAd NoAH (the “Blue Sky” ending) and the disastrous Third Melt that devastates Shibuya. Takumi Nishijou seems to have apparently used his Gigalomaniac powers to create a delusionary world that is just like a gal game, where all six of the Gigalomaniac girls are in love with him, and it is also somehow summertime and Shibuya is intact, completely undamaged.
His delusions apparently managed to overwrite reality and force everyone to live as if they are in a gal game. One of the intro songs for this game, Let’s Trip Some Flags!, jokingly calls Takumi a “Teralomaniac”, a thousand times stronger than a Gigalomaniac and a million times stronger than a megalomaniac, for his ability to rewrite all of reality to create this ideal world for himself.
Early on, the six Gigalomaniac girls, who are now in love with him, inform Takumi that the only way to get out of this delusionary world he created to escape reality is to kill his favorite 2D waifu, Seira Orgel, who actually exists in this delusionary world. Seira’s younger sister Erin-fray Orgel is one of the main characters of ChäoS;HEAd Love Chu☆Chu! and a fellow magical girl from the anime Blood Tune.
In this game, Takumi is starting to become more sociable with the girls and not as much of a shut-in as before, but he still has plenty of difficulties. At the end of the game, Takumi Nishijou permanently loses his powers and reality goes back to normal.
This game actually is canon in the Science Adventure Series universe, canonically the second game chronologically after ChäoS;HEAd NoAH’s True End, and the third game chronologically is Steins;Gate.
