Fumio Takashina (高科 史男, Takashina Fumio) is a psychiatrist and medical doctor at the AH Tokyo General Hospital.
Appearance[]
Dr. Takashina has grey hair and a kindly face.
He wears the standard outfit for a doctor at a hospital.
Personality[]
Dr. Takashina is a kindly, compassionate man, who cares a lot for his patients. Takumi Nishijou really liked him a whole lot and viewed him as his only ally in the world. When Takumi went mute after the bus accident and his parents were worried, Dr. Takashina figured out that Takumi actually could talk if he wanted to, but just chose not to. But Dr. Takashina kept this to himself and did not rat out Takumi to his parents, instead keeping this secret for Takumi, as a kind and supportive doctor.
Background[]
Dr. Takashina was Takumi Nishijou’s (specifically the real one’s) psychiatrist. Takumi started seeing him after the bus accident, when he stopped talking.
Plot[]
After Yua Kusunoki confronted Takumi and accused him of having multiple personalities, with another personality that took over when he was asleep, Takumi went to see Dr. Takashina at AH Tokyo General Hospital to try to confirm his sanity. Dr. Takashina did not recall meeting Takumi before, to his dismay, as he remembered Dr. Takashina very vividly, since Dr. Takashina had never met this version of Takumi before, but rather had been the doctor for the real Takumi Nishijou. Dr. Takashina had Takumi do a sleep study to check if he was a sleepwalker. After Takumi woke up, Dr. Takashina was gone and only the nurse Shino Hazuki was there, to Takumi’s further dismay.
Fumio Takashina’s brain was removed by the nurse Shino Hazuki, who was his assistant, as part of the fifth New Gen case, Numbskull. He continued living for approximately a week before dying of malnutrition.

- ↑ Deduced: if Dr. Takashina is born on january 12 and is 41 during ChäoS;HEAd, which takes place in 2008, then he would be born in 1967. However, since the events of ChäoS;HEAd seem to take place in 2009 for the rest of the Science Adventure Series, it is possible that his birth year was retconned to be a year later.
