Grouchosoft Mindorz is the Science Adventure Series equivalent of Microsoft Windows, developed by the Grouchosoft software company, equivalent to Microsoft in the real world.
In ChäoS;HEAd, most people still use Grouchosoft Mindorz X Perfect, which is equivalent to Microsoft Windows XP; it is used on Takumi Nishijou’s computer as well as all the computers at @café. The computers at @café use the default wallpaper of Mindorz X Perfect. By the time of Steins;Gate, Grouchosoft Mindorz Wista, the equivalent of Microsoft Windows Vista, is more common.
The MMORPG game Empire Sweeper Online is an example of a popular piece of software for Mindorz.

In the latest Chaotic;Head fan translation, the icons are labeled “My PC” (equivalent to the Windows icon This PC/My Computer), “Network” (equivalent to the Windows icon My Network Places/Network Neighborhood), “Global-Code” (equivalent to Microsoft Visual Studio or another IDE), “coco-Chat” (equivalent to mIRC or another IRC client), “Butterfly” (equivalent to Mozilla Thunderbird or another email client), “E.S.Online” (the MMORPG game Empire Sweeper Online), and a last icon whose text has not been translated from Japanese to English yet and whose icon looks like some sort of fruit (most likely NOT a reference to Apple Inc. since Mindorz represents Windows, not macOS).
