The Ir2 equation is the equation fun10

. It was created and realbooted by the original Takumi Nishijou in elementary school in 2002, written by him on the back of an essay he wrote about the phrase “Whose eyes are those eyes?”, which was the catalyst for the beginning of his condition.
Millennium 7[]
The equation was actually the answer to the eighth of the Millennium 7 problems. The eighth problem was expunged before the Millenium 7 problems became public due to the potential solution having the possibility of letting anyone control the world. The original Millennium 8 were eight problems in mathematics that the Committee of 300 wanted solved for its research, all eight of them being connected in some way to advancing its “Human Domestication Project”. Another of these problems, the Poincaré conjecture, was solved by Russian mathematician Grigori Perelman in 2003, but he turned down the million dollar prize money out of humility; the other six remain unsolved.
Meaning of the equation[]
The Ir2 equation is said to be the equation that destroyed the world’s possibilities and made the world diverge according to both Shogun and Sena Aoi and is said to be more revolutionary than Albert Einstein’s E
=
mc2
.
After this essay was entered into a contest, the Ir2 equation written on it was noticed by Issei Hatano and became the basis for the Committee of 300’s Project Noah and the “Noah II” device built by N.O.Z.O.M.I., as it is the key to realbooting delusions into physical reality, rather than just causing delusions. It is the equation that scientifically explains how Gigalomaniac powers work.
Particle-antiparticle pairs are made from holes in the Dirac Sea and sent to the dead spots in people’s brains, causing them to see the same delusions as a Gigalomaniac or someone using Noah II. By making all observers see the same delusion, since wave function collapse in quantum physics is caused by observation, reducing all the different possibilities down to whichever one is observed to happen, what was originally a delusion becomes physically a part of reality according to the Ir2 equation.
“ | It is a resonance phenomenon which speculates on electromagnetic forces within the fundamental interactions. That is what the formula conveys. In turn, it has elucidated an unknown force, one which manifests through local interaction between established electromagnetic pulses and receptors. Through this one formula, the accumulated research and development on Silent Weapons--all the efforts of every nation over the past thirty years--would become obsolete in a mere instant. | ” |

In Robotics;Notes[]
This section contains major spoilers for Robotics;Notes.
The Ir2 equation becomes lost after the Third Melt, so by the time Robotics;Notes takes place and the “Noah IV” is built by N.O.Z.O.M.I. (which is under new leadership loyal to the Committee of 300), the Noah IV is actually a vastly inferior imitation of the Noah II, incapable of realbooting delusions into physical reality, and only capable of causing mass delusions.
Noah IV is based on Visual Rebuilding technology, which is older than the Ir2 equation-based technology and cannot actually realboot anything. However, people in Robotics;Notes are deceived into thinking that realbooting took place by the delusions from Noah IV.
Also, the Noah IV device, also called “Noah’s Ark”, is small, portable, and able to be mass-produced, just like the transponder backpacks used by Porters in ChäoS;HEAd, so it can be used a bit more flexibly than Noah II, which was big and bulky and there was only one of. But Noah IV’s failure to actually realboot anything demonstrates the importance of the Ir2 equation.
