When the Second Melt happened, a blinding white light accompanied it

The Second Melt was the second of three manmade earthquakes to occur in Shibuya as a result of Project Noah’s experiments in trying to raise people’s biorhythms by raising the GE rates, coming in between the First Melt and the Third Melt. Although it was only a 5.0 magnitude earthquake, 118 people died and 367 were injured, which is unusual, since just a few years ago in 2005, an earlier 5.0 magnitude earthquake had hit Tokyo and had zero fatalities.

The earthquake also caused people to experience severe headaches and collapse, and many went unconscious for awhile, and AH Tokyo General Hospital was flooded with cases. The sky also turned white, with the white part of the sky resembling the shape of a mushroom cloud, although the media did not report on the white sky anomaly whatsoever, probably due to pressure from The Meiwa Party. Additionally, it damaged data on magnetic storage devices such as the hard disk on Takumi Nishijou’s computer, requiring him to reformat his hard disk.

It happened on October 27, 2009, the same day as Ayase Kishimoto’s suicide attempt and an incident at an 8-story building in downtown Shibuya called the O-Front involving Yuri Brightman and Shogun apparently blackmailing Takumi Nishijou into publicly humiliating himself through threats from Shogun to kill Takumi’s sister Nanami Nishijou that also involved Takumi finding what seemed to be Nanami’s dismembered right hand along with her cell phone and the bangle Takumi had given her as a gift. It was actually Mamoru Suwa impersonating Shogun in the O-Front incident, and it was Gen'ichi Norose who had cut off Nanami’s right hand. One day later, on October 28th, the Finger Food New Gen murder happened.
