The Meiwa Party (明和党, Meiwa Tō) is one of the two major political parties in the world of the ChäoS;HEAd story. The detectives Katsuko Momose and Yasuji Ban suspect it of pressuring and manipulating media sources in order to cover up the experiments conducted by N.O.Z.O.M.I.
A Member of Parliament and rising star in The Meiwa Party, Kouzou Inohana, helped found FaithWorks Ltd., which became a child company of N.O.Z.O.M.I. five years before the storyline begins. That is also around the time The Meiwa Party started winning more seats in the elections each year.
Along with the Cosmic Church of the Divine Light, The Meiwa Party is one of the two financial backers of N.O.Z.O.M.I. in Project Noah, a plan originally devised by the Committee of 300 for its Human Cultivation Project (a.k.a. New World Order), although Project Noah has gone in a direction the Committee did not intend since then.
